
As part of National Cinema Day, an industry wide initiative taking place on Saturday 3 September, The Light Cinema are offering all films and formats for just £3 across their 12 UK sites, including Stockport.
The Light jumped at the opportunity to be part of this special offer and are excited to be able to give as many people as possible the chance to catch up on all the latest blockbusters, family movies and a few classics too and to experience the magic of the cinema for a fraction of the normal ticket price.
The bumper line-up includes new films like gritty drama Three Thousand Years of Longing starring Idris Elba plus Tad The Lost Explorer and The Curse of the Mummy for younger audiences as well as a raft of summer favourites including Fisherman’s Friends: One and All, Top Gun: Maverick, Jurassic World: Dominion, DC Super-Pets and Minions: The Rise of Gru. They’ll also be celebrating 40 years since E.T. first hit the big screen with a special anniversary showing too.
After the phenomenal response from National Cinema Day, The Light have also taken the decision to extend the £3 offer to select films on Sunday 4 September too including the record-breaking National Theatre Live’s Prima Facie starring Jodie Comer, Good Luck To You Leo Grande, Everything Everywhere All at Once and Brian and Charles.
