Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) have launched a new Business Travel Survey to understand how businesses feel about the city-region’s current public transport and active travel network.
Encouraging sustainable travel to and from the workplace, and how employees, customers and visitors get to places of business, can play an important part in meeting Greater Manchester’s ambitious target for becoming carbon neutral by 2038.
TfGM wants to gather feedback from businesses across the city region so that they can be better informed about the opportunities and challenges for businesses choosing sustainable travel; to inform the design of advice, resources and services; and to improve the way we communicate with businesses.
Greater Manchester’s transport and travel priorities aim to provide an environmentally sustainable network which is accessible, affordable and easy to use, and that supports long-term economic growth and access to opportunity for all.
Survey results will help inform TfGM’s Bee Network vision for a joined up network of public transport and walking and cycling infrastructure across all 10 boroughs of Greater Manchester, bringing together buses, trams, rail as well as active travel. Input from local businesses will ensure that plans work for all organisations and their workforce.
The survey takes approximately five minutes to complete online here, and closes on 11th August.
