Stockport based Techniheat Plant Services have a double reason to celebrate following the launch of a new website and a growing workforce.
The previous website was launched in 2010 but following advances in technology and changes in how customers use websites, Techniheat concluded that it was time for an update. The goal was to make the site more informative and encourage browsers to act, either by phoning or contacting the company via the website.
Steve Roberts, Managing Director, explains further:
“I have listened to advice from a number of sources, especially the information gleaned at some of the monthly Business Builder Forums held by Hallidays the accountants and Marketing Stockport; these events have proved to be so valuable to a growing company like ourselves, receiving expert advice in areas of business that I would otherwise have not heard about.
“On the new web site we have been able to add video content and testimonials from many of our long-standing and satisfied customers to keep the site fresh and interesting.”
The new site will be further enhanced next month by adding an internal picture mapping and tour of the office building at Priory House in Marple. TPS have engaged with fellow Marketing Stockport member 360 Spin to advise and produce suitable pictures for the google tour and portrait pictures of key staff will be added in a new section called Meet the Team.
Steve continues:
“Our overall aim is to give prospective new customers the reassurance they require, that we are the best company to contact for all their boiler, heating and air conditioning needs. We are only a phone call away at any time, where they can talk to the experts.
“From humble beginnings in 2002 the company has grown by approximately 2 new staff each year and now directly employ 23 staff. By looking after our employees, they in turn provide a great service to the customers and here at Techniheat we have virtually no turnover of staff, which I am very proud about”
The newest addition to the team at Techniheat is Debbie Paton who recently joined in August as an accounts administrator working in the accounts department.
Steve Roberts is a firm believer that customer satisfaction is the key to growth and that has been highlighted in the new testimonial section on the web site. The naturally self-funded expansion over the years has recently resulted in doubling the office space and launching a projects team.
Steve says
“I now appreciate the value of engaging with local professionals that have specific skills in areas out of our scope and it has surprised me how many talented people work in Stockport.”
Steve firmly agrees with the Marketing Stockport strategy of encouraging greater trade locally and promoting Stockport based businesses to a wider audience locally, nationally and internationally.
“Working with new customers and suppliers in Stockport has made expansion easy and I would recommend this as a great method to do business, keep it local if you can”, concluded Steve.
