The Business Growth Hub is recruiting food and drink businesses in their first 3 years of trading to join the fifth cohort of its Recipe4Success programme.
The funded support offers a comprehensive programme of workshops and networking events to help SME food and drink businesses in Greater Manchester grow. In line with ongoing social distancing regulations, all events will be held remotely.
Previous participants in the Recipe4Success programme include Salford-based Four Sisters Distillery. Lucy McAvoy, from the business, said:
The R4S initiative was the perfect introduction for our product based company to really get to know and understand key elements of how to build the brand and access all the appropriate routes to market. It covered all the essentials and we gained vital knowledge from experts within their fields. It was an excellent catalyst in assisting us in making key strategic business decisions and growing the company at a fast rate.”
The Recipe4Success programme covers a diverse range of topics pertinent to food and drink businesses, with workshops on regulation and pitching to retailers, as well as branding and building sales both in the UK and internationally.
As well as having the chance to practice and hone a sales pitch in front of industry experts, the programme concludes by offering participating businesses the change to pitch their products to a panel of buyers including both local and nationwide retailers.
Registrations for the Recipe4Success programme close on 16th February and can be submitted via the Business Growth Hub website. A launch event offering networking with some of the specialists leading the workshops will take place on 11th February.
