Stockport’s digital radio station, Strawberry Radio will return as the official media partner for the 2022 Stockport Business Awards, organisers Clarke Nicklin Chartered Accountants have confirmed.
The DAB station, available via digital radio, online and through the Strawberry Radio mobile app, acted as media partner for the awards for the first time last year in the Stockport Business Awards’ tenth anniversary year.
Station presenter and co-owner, Chellce AJ explained what the continued partnership with the awards meant for her:
The Stockport Business Awards return for their 11th outing Thursday 6th October, with entries now open until 27th May for businesses to enter online for free in 14 categories, with the winners announced at a gala dinner in October at Stockport County’s Edgeley Park.
As well as celebrating the best in business in Stockport, the awards also routinely raise much-needed funds for local causes, and this year will support Cheadle Hulme-based Seashell Trust as its official charity partner.
Businesses can now head to the Stockport Business Awards website where they can enter online. Entries will close at 5pm on Friday 27th May and judging will take place in June.
