Stockport’s self-employed, freelancers and business owners are invited to a networking event at Central Library, hosted by Greater Manchester’s EnterprisingYou support programme.
The event promises to offer a local networking opportunity to encourage Stockport businesses to network, socialise and make new connections. The Self-Employed Social event hopes to counter how being self-employed can be sometimes isolating, as well as challenging.
Business coaches from the EnterprisingYou support programme will also be available to learn more about how the scheme can offer support to small business owners, freelancers, gig economy workers and other self-employed people in the borough, either to grow their business or access other support, such as with managing finances and boosting their mental and physical wellbeing.
The event is free to attend and takes place from 10.30am to 12.30pm on Monday 21st June at Stockport Central Library, Wellington Road South, Stockport, SK1 3RS.
To register to attend, visit the EnterprisingYou website.
EnterprisingYou is a free Greater Manchester-wide support programme for self-employed adults earning under £27,000 delivered by The Growth Company and PeoplePlus Enterprise. It incorporates training opportunities to fast forward development, help boost skills, increase incomes, or help casual workers find alternative routes and roles which can offer greater stability.
