Stockport based The Fresh Group has bought exhibition design and build company, Igloo Events for an undisclosed amount.
Commenting on the acqusition is Fresh Group managing director, Patrick Howells:
“Adding Igloo’s manufacturing skills to our already flourishing design and build service is a fantastic proposition for fresh’s existing client base. Equally, we look forward to bringing our award-winning creative and account management services to Igloo clients.”
Igloo, which was established in 2010 and based in Middleton, had a reported turnover of £1.3m last year and manufactures and delivers large-scale exhibition projects. Fresh will take on all design, production, build and delivery at its Heaton Mersey, Stockport workshop.
“We’ve always been really impressed by the account management and creativity of the Fresh team and have enjoyed working with them as a build supplier in the past. The opportunity to join up our skills and experience with theirs made absolute business sense. I’m really looking forward to helping grow fresh’s exhibition offering,” said Steve Savage, director at Igloo.
