FPE Global, specialists in supplying bulk material handling systems and process equipment, are departing from Higher Hillgate in Stockport and have signed a ten-year lease agreement at Orion House, located on Orion Business Park in Cheadle.
The new premises (left) offer 14,000 sq. ft. of office accommodation, and a 30,000 sq. ft. production facility from where they will operate their business of providing complete bulk materials handling systems.
FPE Global will relocate on October 6th to the larger premises that will support the company’s plans for expansion and upscale their business offering.
Ben Howard, chief financial officer at FPE Global, said:
“Orion House is the perfect location for FPE – it provides us with the right mix of enlarged production and office spaces in a highly accessible location. The size and specification of the building will enable us to improve the focus of our production capabilities, and will better showcase our products and services.
“The new office is set to enable us to provide faster and more innovative solutions to our customers, as well as allowing us to continue the development of our in-house product range and testing facilities.”
NorthEdge Capital, the private equity firm focused on backing businesses in the North of England, acquired a majority shareholding in FPE Global in February 2013.
Phil Frame, investment manager at NorthEdge, said:
“This is a very exciting time for FPE Global, with the new premises providing a platform for the business to expand into each of its core markets. We are looking forward to our on-going relationship with the management team as they continue to execute their growth plan, investing in the continued development of its staff, and driving innovation to support its product offering and enhance customer experience.”
