STOCKPORT’S EGAN REID IN ACQUSITION DEAL

Stockport based stationery supplies business Egan Reid has acquired Dart Office Supplies, a rival company based in Knowsley, Lancashire.

Like Egan Reid, Dart Office Supplies is an independent, family owned and managed company with long established links in the north west having begun trading in 1977 and grown its customer base extensibly.

The latest acquisition puts Bredbury based Egan Reid in an ideal position to service and grow its customer base across the M62 corridor and the north of England following its purchase last year Egan Reid of specialist schools supplier ‘Head Office Supplies’ based in Leeds.

Egan Reid is run by brothers and joint managing directors Andrew and Martin Reid and is a prime example of another well established Stockport based, independent family business capitalising on its strong foundations to grow and develop.  This year Stockport’s Robinsons Beer & Brewery celebrate 175 years of family ownership and still evolving to meet the demands of todays business and consumer.
