Stockport Council is asking people to gives their views as part of a consultation on a proposal to change a ward name.
The Council is consulting on a proposal to change ‘Bramhall South Ward’ to ‘Bramhall South and Woodford Ward’ and is suggesting the change to make the name of the ward better reflect the community it represents.

From Monday 20th January residents can also use the touch screen kiosks at Woodford Garden Centre and Bramhall Library to have their say.
Paper copies will also be available at the library or people can write to the Electoral Registration Officer, FREEPOST PHQ16, Stockport Council, Town Hall, Edward Street, Stockport SK1 3XE to give their views.
The consultation will close on 7th March, 2014.
