Stockport saddles up for ‘Cycle to Work Day’

Promoted by Transport for Greater Manchester – TfGM – Stockport businesses are being encouraged support ‘Cycle to Work Day’ – to get on their bikes on Thursday August 8th.

The UK’s biggest community cycling event, Cycle to Work Day is for everyone. It doesn’t matter if you haven’t cycled in years or have never cycled at all – the event is encouraging everyone to give it a go!

All the info you need to register is on the Love to Ride website. You can also download a handy toolkit which is filled with everything you need to shout about Cycle to Work Day to your staff – visitwww.cycletoworkday.org/promo.

For that extra bit of motivation, they are also running a number of weekly cycling challenges in the lead up to the day. Everyone taking part in each challenge and logging their ride on Love to Ride will be entered into a draw to win some incredible prizes on offer that week.
