Below is the latest list of roadworks in Stockport:
- Stockport Council will be carrying out carriageway repairs on Gillbent Road between Rushfield Road and Church Road in Cheadle Hulme. The work is due to start on 18th January and is expected to take 2 weeks to complete. Work will be carried out at the weekend and through the week with the use of temporary traffic signals, off peak only Monday to Friday. Access to properties will be maintained where possible but may be restricted for certain periods as the works progress.
- TfGM are carrying out works on St Mary’s Way in Portwood, at the junction with Newbridge Lane. These works will require a lane closure, which will be in place until 20th January, daily from 9.30am and 3.30pm.
- Vodafone will be carrying out works to upgrade an existing site on Church Road in Cheadle Hulme, between the junctions with Granby Road and Woods Lane. These works will require the use of two-way signals from 17th to 19th February, between 9.00am and 3.00pm only.
- Stockport Council will be carrying out carriageway repairs on Swann Lane starting on 14th January, which are expected to take one week to complete. Access to properties will be maintained where possible but may be restricted for certain periods as the work progresses.
