Stockport Retail Park welcomes new Smyths Toys Superstore

Doors are set to open at 9am on 24th March 2022 on a new Smyths Toys Superstore at Peel L&P Retail Parks’ Stockport Retail Park (formerly the Peel Centre).

The new store, announced in January, will bring to the town centre 18,000 sq ft of toys, video games, outdoor, baby, and pre-school products and will be the only large toy store in the town. The Smyths Toys Superstore at Stockport Retail Park will be the chain’s fifth store in Greater Manchester, with stores already established in Oldham, Bury, Bolton, Salford and Wigan.

After its grand opening on Thursday 24th, On Friday 25th and Saturday 26th March the party will continue with DJs, candy floss and a number of special guests, including Chase & Skye from PAW Patrol (Saturday), Cocomelon’s JJ (Friday) and many more dropping by at various intervals between 9am and 4pm!

The store is also still on the lookout for new team members to join Smyths Toys, adding to the new jobs already created.

The opening marks another milestone in a period of new offerings heading to Stockport Retail Park. Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons opened the doors to their new restaurant and drive-thru at the retail park last month and has already proven extremely popular with the community. Smyths Toys Superstore will join a strong mix of lifestyle, convenience, food and beverage brands located at Stockport Retail Park including The Range, Argos, Costa Coffee and TK Maxx.
