
Two Stockport restaurants have come out on the top table at the Manchester Food & Drink Awards 2017.
Both newcomers and leading the way for dining out in Stockport, Matt Nutter and Sam Buckley are celebrating after picking up three awards between them at last night’s Manchester Food & Drink Awards.

Matt Nutter of The Allotment – Chef of the Year
The very coveted title of ‘Chef of the Year’ was awarded to Matt Nutter whose The Allotment Vegan Restaurant has created dishes that would turn the palettes of the most hardened carnivores.
The Allotment Vegan Restaurant in Stockport was also voted Best Vegetarian Offering beating the other shortlisted winners, all based in Manchester: Bundobust, Vrev, Indian Tiffin Room, Manchester House and Sanskruti.

Newcomer of the Year was very deservedly won by Sam Buckley and the team at Where The Light Gets In, recently given a 5***** review in the Times.
