Stockport residents will get the chance to quiz the new leaders of Stepping Hill Hospital and local community health services at a special event this evening.
Stockport NHS Foundation Trust chairman Gillian Easson and chief executive Ann Barnes will take part in a unique Question Time-style event, featuring a lively interactive session with the audience, followed by an open forum for questions.
Both are responsible for a £275 million annual budget and the treatment and care of 750,000 patients a year from across Stockport, Tameside, Glossop and parts of the High Peak.
The event will be held at the Pinewood Education Centre at Stepping Hill Hospital from 7pm this evening – Monday 17th June.
Part of the hour-long session will use Who Wants to be a Millionaire-style electronic key pads to gather people’s views.
Communications Manager Helen O’Brien said: “We’ve planned the event to be as informative and interesting, as well as fun and interactive, as possible.”
