Redrock Stockport has proven an instant success with visitors from across South Manchester since it opened just 11 weeks ago, with the cinema and restaurants all reporting that their visitor and trading figures are well ahead of predictions.
Visitors have flocked to the new leisure destination, and are loving the 10-screen The Light Cinema where they can relax and watch the latest releases from the comfort of their reclining chair, as well as the ever range of restaurants they find on offer, making it easy to see why it is so popular.
The opening of Berretto Lounge has created 25 new jobs in Stockport, for local residents who are at the heart of the investment work taking place.
Councillor Kate Butler, Stockport Council’s Cabinet Member for Economy and Regeneration commented:
“It’s great to be able to welcome Berretto Lounge to Stockport, and I’m sure that they are going to prove very popular at Redrock. I’m delighted that their opening has created so many new jobs for local people and want to wish Berretto Lounge and each of their staff the very best for the future.”
Visitors can now access the new 360 space multi-storey car park directly from the A6, and this links to the neighbouring Merseyway car park.
