Resin Surfaces Limited (RSL) has recorded a 26% growth in 2014, taking turnover to over £6million for the first time.
One of its highlight projects for 2014 was to provide flooring for the award-winning refurbishment of the Central Library in Manchester which boasts one of the most comprehensive ranges of resin systems in Europe.
Ivy Wroe, (left) Managing Director, commented:
“Early in the year we knew that opportunities were coming and ensured that our whole operation was fit for purpose.
“Our skilled production and technical staff combined with quality product and service here in the UK and overseas kept us ahead of the curve and able to respond to growth in demand.”
She continued:
“We have managed to strengthen relationships with existing business, as well as attract new customers, giving us a great platform to sustain the growth. I am confident we are on track for our £7million turnover target by 2017.”
Resuthane, RSL’s best-selling specialist resin flooring for the food and drink sector, continued to perform well alongside continued growth of exports and improving market share. Resuthane is popular because of its hygienic, easy to clean and non-taint features.
Commitment to innovation, quality of manufacture and the sharing of technical knowhow among customers throughout the process remain central to RSL’s success.
Ivy concluded:
“2015 is undoubtedly going to be focused on getting a pipeline of new products to market, befitting a market leader, and sustaining the push internationally, especially in food and drink markets, where Resuthane gives us such an advantage.”
