Stockport LIVE producers BellyflopTV are having the camera turned on them as they get set to abseil in support of Stockport Mayor’s charities.
Bellyflop TV are well known for making videos and are keen to ensure they contribute to their community. Just a year ago they launched their community social media channel, Stockport LIVE, that has topped 50,000 views in it’s first year and has 3,000+ followers.
At the Mayor of Stockport’s abseil event last year for Mayor Cllr Chris Gordon, Sammi & Carol, of Bellyflop, went down to film and enjoyed the experience so much they felt they had to sign up for 2018!
Sammi and Carol will be abseiling down Stopford House on 24th March to support Cllr Linda Holt, the Mayor of Stockport’s charities which are Romiley ARC (www.arc-cic.co.uk/), Stockport RSPCA (www.rspca-stockport.org/) and The Plaza (stockportplaza.co.uk/).

Carol and Sammi from Bellyflop TV and Stockport LIVE get set to abseil for charity
Sammi Wilde, Editor at Bellyflop TV, said
We’re both looking forward to this event and raising money for these great causes. After experiencing the event last year it seemed it was an opportunity not to be missed!”
2017’s abseilers raised £5,000 for Stockport Samaritans and St Ann’s Hospice. This year they’re hoping to top that!
Carol Dabrowska, Office Manager, added
My family think that I’m crazy to do it as I am afraid of heights but since moving to Stockport 8 years ago, it is important to me to support my local community and this year’s charities are a wonderful choice. On the top of that, it will be a fun day!”
Sammi and Carol will be abseiling on 24th March at 12pm in the Piazza by Stopford House.
We hope to see you all there!”
