Drivers in Stockport will have the opportunity to see Kia’s latest electric car, the EV6, as part of a national roadshow of Lookers dealerships to launch the Korean manufacturer’s first rapid charge model.
The EV6 ‘Electric Experience’ is a limited viewing event from 4pm until 8pm on 21st August to showcase Kia’s latest innovations in electric car technology. The EV6 is the Korean brand’s first rapid charge model, offering charging times as low as 18 minutes from 10-80 per cent battery and a maximum range of 316 miles.
Lookers Kia Stockport general manager Thomas Foley is looking forward to an event which will help to change perspectives on electric vehicles and find the ideal car to make the switch from petrol or diesel to electric; he said:
“Events such as the EV6 electric experience are an opportunity to view a range of beautifully crafted vehicles and find out from vehicle experts why electric cars are an accessible and cost-effective choice for drivers.
“As the latest news on climate change has stated, we all have an environmental responsibility to rely on fewer fossil fuel resources domestically and commercially. Lookers supports environmental innovations and supports the uptake of electric vehicles to help drivers make a difference to their carbon footprint.”
Lookers Kia is launching the EV6 with a nationwide tour of dealerships, including Newcastle, Stockport, Belfast, Newtownabbey and Chester during August and September before the vehicle is released for sale in October.
Lookers Stockport will present three exclusive launch experiences of the electric Kia EV6 on the 19 August, customers can book a place online here. Space for each event is limited and available on a first come first served basis.
