Stockport hotel sold after over 40 years of family ownership

Property firm, Graham + Sibbald, have announced the sale of the Wycliffe Hotel in Stockport after over 40 years of family ownership.

Based on Edgeley Road, less than a mile from the town centre, the 14-room hotel has been owned and operated by Mark and Julie Tavini. The hotel features a lounge bar with seating for 30, 80-cover restaurant and function suite with a capacity of 32 in a desirable location within the Edgeley Park conservation area.

The buyers and purchase price have not been disclosed, however, Graham + Sibbald, who acted jointly with Woodcocks, Haworth & Nuttall Solicitors on the sale of the hotel, revealed the property generated considerable interest thanks to its central location in Stockport, and commanded an asking price of around £950,000.
