Stockport Homes will be holding a number of Skills Share seminars in the new year where businesses can benefit from sharing best practice.

Stockport Homes Skills Share seminars and workshops give you the opportunity to network and benefit from sharing best practice, engaging professional key speakers who are set to leave you feeling inspired.

Stockport Homes’ environmental team provides services including grounds maintenance, cleaning, care-taking and facilities management to all our properties, and commercially, through our in-house teams and external contracts and partnerships.

This workshop is aimed at staff, managers and volunteers who want to share good practice and plan for the future. Sessions will cover:

• How to transform services and overcome challenges
• Growing the business and generating additional income
• Systems and processes in greenspace maintenance and management
• New ways of working for care-taking and cleaning services (including recruitment and selection and use of volunteers)
• Partnership working and investment within estate management

Stockport Homes’ Customer Scrutiny Panel recently became the only panel to achieve full marks on the Quality Assured Scrutiny accreditation assessment and we are proud to have been awarded ‘Most Inspiring Scrutiny Panel’ for two years running.

Stockport Homes wants to share its journey to excellence with other ambitious housing providers and use this opportunity to share experiences and best practice.
