Robin Burman, Chair of the Board, Stockport Homes said: “Anything we can do to support personnel who have left the armed forces into social housing and into employment, I know will be well received and is greatly needed.”
Major Nuzum from the Ministry of Defence, said: “Thank you to Stockport Homes Group for signing the Armed Forces Covenant, what it means to the Armed Forces Community, is giving that personalised rehousing plans for applicants for those in the forces and former forces and that’s particularly needed for those personnel who are in transition out of the Armed Forces. Giving priority to Armed Forces applicants for shared ownership is particularly important. So thank you.”
