Stockport Homes has been named as a finalist in four categories at the Housing Heroes awards. The winners will be announced at a ceremony at the Manchester Central on Monday 22 June.
The awards, organised by the Chartered Institute of Housing, aims to shine the spotlight on the teams and individuals that make housing such a vibrant and caring sector. Many of the awards celebrate the “unsung heroes” of the housing world – from the communications and frontline teams to the lifetime contribution from a tenant.
Stockport Homes has been shortlisted in the following categories:
- Frontline Team of the Year – for the Customer Finance Team
- Care and Support Team of the Year – for the Temporary Accommodation Team
- Central Service Team of the Year – for the People and Organisational Development Team
- Jenny Boswell has been shortlisted in the Inspirational Colleague of the Year category, to further add to her nomination for the national Investors in People award, for Manager of the Year.
Roger Phillips, Chair of Stockport Homes’ Board said, “To be shortlisted in four categories at the Housing Heroes awards is tantamount to the hard work and dedication of the team at Stockport Homes. It is very welcome recognition for the work we do with our customers and staff.”
Stockport Homes have also been shortlisted for a sustainability award at the North West Regional Construction Awards. The award, that recognises our energy efficiency work, will be held on 4 June 2015 at The Palace Hotel, Manchester City Centre.
