Stockport Homes Group has been named as a finalist in three categories in the Greater Manchester Business Awards.
The housing provider has been shortlisted in the categories Business of the Year (over 10 employees), Community and Social Responsibility and Employer of the Year.
The awards aim to recognise innovation and expertise with Greater Manchester’s business community. While no physical awards ceremony will go ahead due to the coronavirus pandemic restricting mass gatherings, the event will take place virtually, with announcement of winning businesses taking place via a livestream, presented by ITV’s Paul Crone on the 4th September 2020, from 4pm.
Jenny Osbourne (pictured), Chair of Stockport Homes Group’s Board, said:
We are delighted to be finalists and to be recognised for our continued approach to being an excellent employer and delivering high quality services to our customers, whilst adding social value.”
The awards event will also raise money for Children’s and Young People’s mental health services at Pennine Care NHS facilities.
