Stockport Homes Group Furniture Recycling Project holds drop-in event to celebrate new store opening

November 25, 2022

Stockport Homes Group’s Skylight Furniture Project is holding a Drop-In event for local businesses to celebrate the opening of its new furniture store in Hazel Grove.

The Furniture Recycling Project is a great corporate social responsibility opportunity for companies and the drop-in event will provide the opportunity to find out more about the project and how businesses can get involved.

The Skylight Furniture project collects donated items of furniture and other large household items to help those in need. Since launching in April 2021, the furniture recycling project has supported 814 households with furniture and white goods.

The organisation, part of the Stockport Homes Group, recently announced a move to new, larger premises in Hazel Grove to allow it to expand its offering. The new site offers an ‘IKEA’ like set up with little show rooms to give customers inspiration to add their personal touch to the interior of their home.

Businesses are invited to come down to the Skylight Furniture Project at Unit 1, National Trading Estate, Bramhall Moor Lane, Hazel Grove, SK7 5AA, anytime between 1pm and 4pm on 30th November. Please RSVP before 25th November to Lucy Darbyshire at Stockport Homes Group if you are planning to attend.

Please note: there is no on-site parking so please park in Asda, just a 5 minute walk away.
