Stockport Homes Group has been awarded three stars, the highest possible rating, in its Best Companies for 2020.
The three-star accreditation recognises organisations that truly excel and reflect ‘extraordinary’ levels of workplace engagement. The accreditation score forms the criteria used to compile the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Companies to Work For lists next year.
Best Companies calculated the score by surveying Stockport Homes’ employees, and asking them to rate their satisfaction with the company in eight key areas:
- My Manager
- Leadership
- My Company
- Personal Growth
- My Team
- Wellbeing
- Fair Deal
- Giving Something Back
2020 is second year running that Stockport Homes Group has received the three-star accreditation, which has taken part in the survey for the last 11 years.
Chair of Stockport Homes Group’s Board, Jenny Osborne, said:
To receive a three-star accreditation again this year is an amazing achievement, and one that we are extremely proud of. We are dedicated to supporting our teams to be engaged, happy, healthy and motivated to deliver excellent services for customers.”
Stockport Homes Group will find out its place in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Companies to Work For in February 2020. In the 2019 list, the housing association came third nationally, rising from fortieth place in 2018. 2020 will be the 11th year that the organisation has made the Sunday Times list.
Stockport Homes Group has had other recognition for how it treats its employees in recent years. Chief Executive, Helen McHale, won Most People Focused CEO at the HR Excellence Awards in July 2019, and the company was shortlisted for an Investors In People award in September.
