
Stockport Homes Group have been shortlisted for Partnership of the Year at the 2020 Building Communities Awards for their work with construction training provider, B4Box
Stockport Homes Group entered the partnership with B4Box to tackle a need to support their most disadvantaged tenants, who face multiple barriers to work, as well as address local skills shortages in construction. The partnership aims to take people from unemployment into long-term careers.
So far, over 250 Stockport residents have benefited from training qualifications, with over 150 gaining sustainable employment thanks to Stockport Homes’ partnership with B4Box.

Stockport Homes Group’s repairs service has also made the shortlist for In-house Maintenance Provider of the Year. The team, Repairs 1st, provides maintenance and repairs to over 30,000 homes and has a customer satisfaction score of 98.9%.
