Stockport Homes has retained its Customer Service Excellence (CSE) accreditation with a 100 per cent rating, confirming Stockport Homes’ commitment to providing excellent customer focused services.
Stockport Homes has also been awarded a ‘Compliance Plus’ for the work of the H3 (Helping the Homeless into Housing) Charity. Compliance Plus is a new initiative for areas of service which meet three criteria – they are innovative, over and above what could be expected and capable of being shared as good practice.
Stockport Homes’ strengths that were highlighted include:
- Feedback from customers was overwhelmingly positive and they were able to support their compliments with clear examples of how the organisation delivers high quality services.
- The consistency and currency of evidence was a real area of strength as it demonstrated that the organisation is continuing to develop and improve its service delivery and that staff use the policies and procedures effectively.
- Staff are clearly fully on board with the culture of customer service and this was demonstrated by many examples of staff going the extra mile’ for customers.
- The clear evidence of and commitment to continuous improvement – the assessor heard lots of examples from staff, partners, contractors and customers of this. There was no sense of the organisation resting on its laurels.
One customer commented that the organisation ‘respects us as tenants but also as individuals’.
Tanya King, Social Inclusion Manager, Stockport Homes said: “This is a great result, which demonstrates that Stockport Homes continue to put customers at the heart of the organisation.”
The Customer Service Excellence standard aims to make a tangible difference to service-users by encouraging provider organisations to focus on their individual needs and preferences. In order for an organisation to be recognised as achieving Customer Service Excellence it must be successfully assessed against the criteria of the standard by one of our licensed certification bodies.
