Three Stockport firms are among eighteen North West based firms to have been honoured at the Queen’s Awards for Enterprise this year at Buckingham Palace.
Contra Vision Ltd (Bramhall) and ParkCloud Ltd (Stockport) were recognised in the International Trade section and Edina UK Limited (Stockport) were honoured in the Innovation category.
North West companies to be honoured also included join Carradice of Nelson Limited (Lancashire), Clarke Energy Ltd (Liverpool), Cygnet Group Ltd (Wincham), Extronics Ltd (Cheshire), High Voltage Partial Discharge Ltd (Manchester), Innovative Technology Limited (Oldham), Smylie Limited (Birkenhead), T.I.S.S. Limited (Blackpool), Travel Counsellors Ltd (Bolton), What More UK Limited (Burnley), Heat Trace Ltd (Cheshire), High Voltage Partial Discharge Ltd (Manchester), Metalube Ltd (Manchester), and NGF Europe Limited (Merseyside).
Recycling Lives Limited (Preston) won under the Sustainable development category.
The awards reward the growth and enterprise of companies across the UK. A total of 162 businesses have been rewarded along with eight individuals which have won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Promotion.
