The Organisers of the Stockport Business Expo have planned the biggest business event this year in Stockport, find out what you will learn and who you can meet at this year’s show.
Following last year’s successful launch of The Stockport Business Expo, innov8 Conference Services, the organisers of the show have been planning ways on improving and growing the already successful event. The event due to take place on the 21st November at Edgeley Park Stadium has more speakers, more exhibitors and more opportunities for delegates to network than 2012.
The Stockport Business Expo was created by local events company innov8 Conference Services, who specialise in large scale National and International events. When the team at innov8 realised that Stockport didn’t have any major Business Conferences or Exhibitions to boast of its own, they leapt into action creating what many had been wanted to have for years – A Stockport Business Expo.
The event features a first class Business Exhibition, with engaging seminars and networking opportunities, even more astounding is it’s FREE to attend as a delegate. A delegate attendee gets access to all the seminars and workshops free car parking and free catering throughout the day to ensure they get the most out of the event.
Show Director, James Caldwell gave us his thoughts on this year’s upcoming event:
“As soon as the 2012 show was finished, we started work on reviewing what we did well and what we could improve. Both Exhibitors and Attendees were really blown away with what we put together last year, but there were some subtle points that came out on what we could do to improve the event.”
“Some of these points were really intriguing as it showed that the Attendees really valued the mixed audience of Exhibitors, yet they wanted to see more products at the show. We’re delighted to confirm we have more companies with products with companies such as Leemic, HandDDiamonds, Ford Retail, Costco, Spin Less Plates and O2 to name but a few.”
It’s also clear to see that the Stockport Business Expo has also ramped up its seminar program with two Keynote sessions from esteemed speakers, Andy Preston and Clive Memmott. This year’s Expo will also see more hands-on learning through its four afternoon workshops whose topics were selected by companies who attended last year’s show as the most important skills they would like to learn.
The event also provides a fantastic opportunity for Stockport show why it is regarded as a competitor to Manchester when it comes to Business growth. Marketing Stockport which 12 months ago launched its portal to support and develop business in Stockport believes it’s the perfect chance for Stockport to shine.
Richard Higginson, Director of Marketing Stockport had this to say about this year’s event,
“We attended the Expo last year and was amazed at the volume of visitors through the day and also the diverse range and quantity of exhibitors. This was a true testament to the strength and offering of the Stockport business community. The Expo certainly helped us launch Marketing Stockport last year and we were able to make new contacts and reach a wide range of sectors by being involved. As we continue to spread the Stockport business news locally, regionally and nationally, we are looking forward to exhibiting this year, making new connections, and also reconnecting with last year’s exhibitors.”
This year’s Stockport Business Expo has it all, exciting products and services on show from Exhibitors, educational seminars from influential speakers and the right mix of networking opportunities and free parking and catering to keep the event flowing all day. Registration and more information on the event is free through the website: www.stockport-business-expo.co.uk.We will also be reviewing the feedback from this year’s show in our December issue of 53 Degrees.
