Trapp’d has reopened its escape rooms in Stockport after an extended closure due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The Trapp’d escape rooms have been closed since 20th March when lockdown restrictions were first enforced, shutting the chain’s sites in 8 sites in the East Midlands, Stockport and Leeds. Following an easing of restrictions, the company has since reopened all its branches, albeit with some additional safety measures in place to protect staff and customers.
- All customers and staff must sanitise hands before entry
- Enhanced cleaning procedures in game rooms, toilets and reception areas
- Deep cleaning of rooms between each group
- Staggered room times to ensure only one group in reception at any one time
- Social distancing measures throughout the branches
- Additional briefing from our staff
- All customers and staff must now wear facemasks at all times – while this may not be the most comfortable option, it is a requirement to comply with government legislation.
For those who would rather remain at home, Trapp’d have been running virtual escape rooms throughout the pandemic, allowing friends, family or work colleagues to get via Zoom and take on the Forsaken and Reanimation games from their living rooms.
Trapp’d opened their escape rooms in Stockport at the end of 2019, on Princes Street. The site included Destroy’d, the chain’s first so-called Rage Room, giving players 30 minutes to relieve their anger and aggression smashing a variety of household items.
