Families are guaranteed a fun-packed Easter as Stockport Merseyway hosts the Easter Eggstravaganza.
Merseyway shopping centre is inviting families to enjoy a host of free activities across the centre to celebrate Easter.
Located outside Specsavers, the Easter Eggstravaganza will be open Saturday 15th April from 11am-4pm with hourly visits from the Easter Bunny throughout the day.

Children greet the Easter Bunny at Stockport Merseyway Shopping Centre in March 2016.
Children of all ages can enjoy arts and crafts workshops including adorable bunny makeovers at the Bunny Station and decorating Easter treats to take home, while families can join in an Easter Egg Hunt by following the Easter themed trail through the centre to receive an Easter treat.
Merseyway is also hosting #SpotTheEggs – a virtual Easter Egg Hunt across its social media channels to win a range of chocolate and Easter treats from Merseyway retailers.
Brendan Webb, Centre Manager said:
“We’re looking forward to a fun-packed weekend this Easter, especially with our Eggstravaganza. The range of activities taking place are something every family visiting the centre can enjoy. Our Easter Garden last year was incredibly popular and we’re looking forward to welcoming lots of people again this year. We’ve not just got the Easter egg trail in the centre, we’ve also created an egg hunt online so there’s something for everyone to enjoy!”
Councillor Kate Butler, Executive Member for Economy and Regeneration at Stockport Council commented
“With craft, Easter egg hunts and lots of fun, the Easter Eggstravaganza will be a fantastic event for the whole family. I’d encourage everyone to come down to Merseyway and enjoy the free event for themselves.”
