Since, Managing Director, Danny Sims first set up his now thriving family owned research business in his garden shed in 2001, the company has organically increased its growth every year. Despite not having external funding, the research company is proud to announce they surpassed the £4.5 million target by 4.3 percent and a plan to break the £5 million barrier next year with an ambitious, yet not unrealistic target of £5.2 million.
Sims commented
“It’s fantastic to announce yet another great year for the company. As always, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our brilliant, loyal staff as we have such strength and depth now. Also, we must not forget our suppliers, our new and repeat clients and the thousands of respondents who take part in our research. Without you all, none of this would be possible.”
With our achievements to date and with our plans for further growth, it’s going to be an interesting few years ahead. We are pretty full now here in Stockport with 5,000 square foot filled within five years! So, solving the space issue will be our next obstacle – a nice issue to have!”
Based on the strong financial performance and an ever-growing loyal client base, the agency has benefited from a growth of employees as well, at present the permanent staff figures have increased from 49 to 58 over the past year and announcements of new staff members are to be revealed promptly. This has enabled DJS Research Ltd to conduct and deliver high quality market research to national and international organisations, across the public, private and voluntary sections. Additionally, the company’s growth has enabled them to take on high-profile clients including European Commission, Department for Work and Pensions, Competition & Markets Authority, NHS Confederation, Leicester City Football Club, Next, Help for Heroes and Co-op.
