Founded in 1883, Stockport County is one of England’s most established football clubs. After securing the 2023–24 EFL League Two title, the club is in the midst of what is proving to be a competitive season in League One. As part of its expansion strategy, the club is looking to enhance its commercial operations and strengthen its charitable arm, the County Community Trust.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the Business Development Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, sponsorships, and licensing agreements that will benefit both Stockport County and the County Community Trust. The role also involves securing corporate funding and support for charitable initiatives, ensuring the club continues to positively impact the local community.
