Following Monday’s announcement confirming the further easing of lockdown restrictions from 17th May, Stockport County has confirmed the club will welcome back fans to Edgeley Park from Saturday 22nd May for a home match against Woking.
The club is working towards accommodating as many fans as legally possible within government guidelines. While capacity will be restricted, Stockport County expect to be able to host all season ticket holders.
100 additional tickets will be available to purchase in the Railway End. The club aims to allocate these tickets as fairly as possible and will be introducing a ballot system. For more information and to apply, click here.
Stockport County will implement a socially distanced SGO2 approved seating plan with staggered arrivals and temperature checks on arrival in order to comply with government guidelines for events.
Fans will also be asked to fill in a Covid-19 symptoms questionnaire ahead of attendance and bring a printed copy with them on the day of the game: questionnaires will be available online to download, or can be collected from the ticket office or Club Shop. The questionnaire must be completed within 24 hours of the event start time and so ideally on the morning of the game.
Fans will be sent a ‘Return of Fans’ pack prior to attending the game, this pack contains the new Covid-19 procedures, arrival times, seat information and the code of conduct. The pack needs to be read thoroughly before attending the game.
Stockport County continues to work closely with the council and local governing bodies with a view of increasing capacity as soon as legally possible. If capacity allowance increases in time for any potential play-off matches, the balloting system will be used to allocate tickets fairly.
