Stockport Council to host seminar at Stockport Expo

Stockport Council will be hosting a seminar at this year’s Stockport Expo explaining about the recent and planned £1bn regeneration in Stockport Town Centre

Paul Richards, Director of  Development and Regeneration at Stockport Council, will be hosting a seminar at this year’s Stockport Expo about recent and planned regeneration in Stockport Town Centre.  The £1bn investment programme has already delivered the Redrock cinema and restaurant complex, prestigious offices and hotel at Stockport Exchange, significant transport infrastructure improvements  and the regeneration of Stockport’s historic Market Place.

Paul will also be introducing new developments, including the Transport Interchange, Merseyway refurbishment and the Council’s vision for Town Centre West, a new urban village in the heart of Stockport that can support up to 3,000 new homes.

Officers from the Council will also be available throughout the day at their exhibition stand to discuss business initiatives, apprenticeship support and opportunities to access business networks and advice.
