
Stockport Council will once again host its Jobs Fair in the Town Hall on 19th September from 11am to 4pm, highlighting vacancies in the borough with the council and its partners.
The fair will be an exciting and unique opportunity to explore the wide variety of exciting jobs available at Stockport Council and partner organisations, from job areas including Adult and Children Social Care, Administration, Events and Digital Services.
There will also be the opportunity to access support in CV and application writing, look at voluntary placements and the Job Centre will be on hand to help.
The event will also give borough residents the opportunity to speak to recruiting managers face-to-face to ask questions about roles, employee benefits and what it is like to be part of different Stockport Council teams. In some cases, it will be possible to hand CVs directly to recruiting managers and even take part in an on the day informal interview for a live vacancy.
There is no need to book in advance just turn up on the day and find out more about what it is like to be part of the team at Stockport Council. Alternatively, attendees can book a free ticket via Eventbrite to help give an idea of numbers likely to turn out on the day.
