Stockport Council is hosting a breakfast networking event for Stockport employers to learn more about the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter.
The free-to-attend networking event will take place at Bask in Stockport Exchange from 8-9.30am on Friday 23rd June.
The event is part of Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter Wek and will showcase some great examples of Stockport employers that are Members of the Charter and Real Living Wage Foundation accredited. It will be an opportunity for employers locally to hear more from other Stockport businesses about the benefits to their organisations and employees of treating their workforce well.
Increasing the number of Stockport employers that are Supporters or Members of the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter, is a key priority in the council’s Stockport Economic Plan.
A dedicated Officer from Stockport Council will be on hand at the event to assist employers wishing to become Supporters of the Charter or work towards being Real Living Wage Foundation accredited. In addition representatives, from the Greater Manchester Good Employment Charter Delivery Unit and the Real Living Wage Foundation will also be in attendance for a Q & A session to answer questions employers may have.
The session is free to attend, with sandwiches and hot drinks provided. To book a place for your business, visit the event’s Eventbrite listing.
