Stockport Council is hosting a local inclusive jobs fair in Lancashire Hill and Heaton Norris area and is looking for local businesses with vacancies to showcase them at the event.
The event offers a great opportunity for local organisations to highlight their business to people actively looking for work to help fill employment gaps in the borough.
Stockport Council is particularly looking for businesses to attend that can offer full- or part-time roles starting soon and roles that do not necessarily need prior experience as well as anyone able to provide apprenticeship roles or volunteering opportunities.
Alongside the inclusive jobs fair, Stockport Council is also hosting its next Money Maximising Roadshow at the same venue, which offers informal advice around financial support to those struggling in the borough, as well as free energy saving equipment like radiator foils and LED light bulbs, which will further attract more candidates for roles to the event.
The fair is taking place on Tuesday 15th October 10am-2pm at All Saints Church, Manchester Road, Heaton Norris, SK4 1QA. Businesses interested in taking part and showcasing their vacancies should contact Henriikka Tuomi-Jennings at Stockport Council for further details.
For Stockport residents looking to attend the event to seek employment or get help with finances, further details about support on offer on the day are available via Eventbrite.
