Local community and grassroots groups in Stockport can apply for funding of between £1,000 and £3,000 but time is running out!
Independent registered charity ‘Forever Manchester’, the Community Foundation for Greater Manchester, manage several funds in Stockport.
The Stockport Fund – originally formed from dormant trust funds held by Stockport Council – encourages grassroots community and voluntary groups to apply for up to £3,000 for project themes relating to Older People, Children and Young People, Safer Stronger Communities, Sustainable Environment, Physical and Economic Regeneration, and Health and Wellbeing.
The deadline for applications for this fund is 18th February.
The CDL (Cheshire Datasystems Limited) fund supports grassroots community and voluntary groups.
CDL invites applications from groups who need core funding of up to £1,000 which supports: Children and young people and family support, Elderly people’s support groups, Stronger communities, Environment, and Health and wellbeing.
The deadline for applications for funding is 15th February.
