
Stockport College, in collaboration with Stockport Council, is offering employability training to local jobseekers that will result in a guaranteed interview with a health and social care sector employer.
The programme aims to upskill individuals, build their confidence and position them for interviews with key employers in the borough. The day’s training has been tailored to help prepare attendees specifically for getting started in a rewarding career within the health and social care sector.
Employability Training includes:
- CV Building and Mock Interview Practice
- Communication Skills within the Healthcare Sector
- Dignity and Care
- Resilience and Perseverance
- Mental Health Awareness
- Managing a Budget
- Guaranteed Interview
An open day to give jobseekers the option to learn more about the programme and working in the health and social care sector will take place at Stockport College on 8th November from 11am to 1pm.
The employability training day will take place on 13th November from 9.30am to 3pm, at Stockport College.
