Stockport College student, Bradley Molloy (pictured), has reached the second round of auditions for TV singing competition, The Voice.
The 17 year-old Multi-trades Construction student at Stockport College succeeded in the first round of ‘The Voice’ auditions held at StreetStar Studios in Reddish earlier this year. He will hear in September if he will progress to perform on television in front of the show’s coaches, expected to be Will.i.am, Tom Jones, Olly Murs and Meghan Trainor.
Bradley chose to audition for the 2021 series of The Voice after setting up a music page on Facebook and receiving a deluge of positive feedback. He has been singing and performing since age 13 and his dream is a career in music, Bradley is hedging his bets and continuing with his studies in Multi-trade Construction at Stockport College.
As well as his singing, Bradley plays piano and guitar, and also finds time to write his own material. He has attracted a large following on his facebook page with covers of some of his favourite artists including Ed Sheeran, Lewis Capaldi, and many more. He commented:
It feels amazing, knowing that I could change my life forever with this opportunity – I’m still trying to get my head round it. I just want to thank everyone for their support on my Facebook page, because without them, I wouldn’t have signed up.”
Bradley’s own creations include the songs, “Not been easy”, a story about losing someone close, and “Happiness” about finding hope and light during the dark times.
