Stockport College is launching its Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply – CIPS Training starting in September 2017.
The course is for employed procurement personnel (or those entering into procurement) and will be delivered over intensive weekend courses at Manchester Airport Academy and during daytime classes at Trafford College.
The CIPS programme will be launched at a special event at the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce offices at Elliot House in Manchester on 25th August at 08:30 to 10:30 where breakfast will also be included.
Throughout the world CIPS qualifications are recognised as driving leading edge thinking and professionalism in procurement. MCIPS is recognised worldwide as the standard for procurement professionals.

CIPS training to be launched by Stockport College
Stockport College will offer four qualifications to support professional development in procurement and supply. On successful completion of the Diploma, Advanced and Professional diplomas and in conjunction with three years’ experience in a role of responsibility in procurement and supply, you may apply for full membership of CIPS to use the designatory letters, MCIPS.
MCIPS is the internationally recognised gold standard of achievement for procurement professionals, marking you out as a purchasing professional at the top of your game, and significantly enhancing careers and earning power.
Stockport College has secured the services of Reg Dyson to deliver the CIPS training. Reg is one of the UK’s leading CIPS trainers with 40 years’ procurement experience in retail, manufacturing, project management and education. His clients included: British Airways, Bentley Motors, The Yorkshire Purchasing Organisation, Salford University, The University of West London and The National School of Government.

CIPS courses are predominantly paid for by employers and in some cases by delegates themselves.
