In Stockport a small working group has been established to assist Stockport businesses to make better connections between businesses and the community.
Having a transparent social impact policy or CSR engagement policy can have many positive outcomes for businesses including assisting in recruitment and employee retention and meaningful engagement with the local community.
In many instances, being able to demonstrate a company’s CSR and social impact practices can have a significant impact in procurement, particularly when entering a tender process where this can account for 20% of the overall score.
