
Stockport charity, Supportability, is inviting businesses to support its annual charity golf day, taking place once at at Heaton Moor Golf Course on Friday 4th July.
The annual Supportability Golf Day is a major event in the charity’s fundraising calendar, and last year raised almost £23,000 to support activities at its day centre and residential lodge for children and adults with a disability in the borough.
To support the event, businesses can submit teams of up to four individuals to compete on the day, and teams can register online here.
The money raised will go a long way in enabling the people we support to live fulfilled and independent lives. It also gives carers’ the opportunity to have a break from their caring responsibilities and ensure everyone’s health and well-being is maintained. Some of the things that the money will go towards include independence skills, music, dance and yoga sessions, days out in local community, arts and crafts materials and much more.
The day’s proceedings will also include a silent auction and charity raffle, and donations of prizes are welcomed. Additionally, a number of sponsorship opportunities are also available. For £1500 businesses can be a co-sponsor of the event, which offers

Sponsorship of a single hole on the 18-hole course is also available for £100.
