Businesses in Stockport and across Greater Manchester are being asked to share their views on possible ways the Apprenticeship Levy system could potentially be reformed.
The GMCA Education, Work and Skills policy team are currently undertaking a research project regarding potential future reform of the Apprenticeship Levy system. The team is seeking out views from stakeholders in the city-region, primarily employers at this stage, on the levy, and attitudes towards potential future reforms so as to inform policy-making in this area.
To help collate the thoughts of businesses in Stockport and throughout the city-region, the GMCA Education, Work and Skills policy team have prepared a short online questionnaire on the Apprenticeship Levy. The survey takes around two to five minutes to complete, and will be live until Friday 26th July.
Information collected from the survey will help to share future policy around the Apprenticeship Levy, and work include a proposal to the new government about piloting a new approach to the levy in Greater Manchester, which may also dovetail with any asks around devolution.
