
Stockport businesses are being invited to a breakfast networking event, hosted by the Mayor of Stockport, to learn how then can participate in the King’s Awards for Enterprise.
Taking place on 31st January from 8am to 10am in the Committee Rooms at Stockport Town Hall, Edward Street, Stockport, SK1 3XE, the event will include presentations and an offer of support to local businesses by the Lieutenancy of Greater Manchester.
The Mayor of Stockport’s Business Breakfast will give local businesses the opportunity find out about the King’s Awards for Enterprise, and how to apply, and the UK Honours System.
The event will open with networking and refreshments, and a welcome form Mayor of Stockport, Cllr Graham Greenhalgh. Speakers at the event include, Gerry Yeung OBE DL, Dr Vikas Shah MBE DL, and Stephen Hall, Clerk to the GM Lieutenancy. The itinerary also includes a case study on the impact of the King’s Awards for Enterprise on a business.
The Mayor of Stockport’s Business Breakfast is free to attend, and those interested should register for their place via Stockport Council’s Eventbrite page.
