Stockport businesses invited to leadership masterclasses

From February 2024, Instep UK are offering organisations from all sectors in Stockport and across Greater Manchester the opportunity to access fully-funded leadership training for their employees.

Leadership Support Programmes include Level 3, 4 and 5 courses, and have been designed to support individuals and employers to develop their leadership capacity and support their growth aspirations. The vast majority of courses are based on the Masterclass model, with individuals having to attend two full-day sessions. Training is backed by GMCA and the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).

In response to intelligence gathered from a wide range of Greater Manchester businesses, Instep UK have developed a series of two-day Masterclass programmes. These unaccredited Masterclasses aim to support individuals/organisations to enhance specific leadership skills.

The themes available to select from are:

• Building High Performing Teams
• Performance Management Excellence
• Coaching
• Communication Excellence
• Supporting Others Through Change
• Motivation & Resilience
• Delivering Project Excellence
• Managing Costs Effectively

Employers – or a group of employers from across a network – who have a cohort of eight to ten individuals wishing to undertake the same two themes can discuss with having an exclusive Leadership Support Programme cohort, which can be delivered face-to-face on site.  

Individuals looking to create a bespoke programme just for them can access open cohorts – although only seven of the listed themes are on offer through this route at present, with currently available dates below.

Whether an organisation is looking to develop and nurture their future talent or support existing leaders/managers to enhance their current skills, programmes can be a perfect workforce development solution. Equally they are great for a keen individual who likes to keep on top of their professional and personal development.
