Transport for Greater Manchester (TfGM) is inviting Stockport businesses to help shape the future of public and active transport across the city-region with the launch of the second iteration of its Business Travel Survey.
The Business Travel Survey helps TfGM to understand how businesses feel about the current public transport and active travel network in Stockport and across Greater Manchester, and what would encourage them to take up sustainable ways of traveling for their employees and business operations.
The survey allows businesses to communicate the challenges and opportunities to TfGM for taking up sustainable travel options, informing the design of advice, resources and services, improving the way TfGM communicates with businesses and monitoring businesses attitudes and priorities over time.
Responses from last year’s survey helped to inform the approach for a?night time transport pilot launching later this year in parts of Greater Manchester that will ensure those working in the night-time economy have safe and affordable transport options available at the ends of shifts.
The survey is open to all businesses, regardless of size or industry, operating in Greater Manchester and should be answered by someone who can speak on behalf of their business and workforce.
