Trafford College Group is encouraging employers to get involved with a week of “Freshers” activities for 16-18 year-olds beginning their studies at campuses in Stockport in September 2023.
The fully-packed induction week aims to ensure students are fully aware of all aspects of college life and the variety of options available to them. Employers and businesses in Stockport can get involved by promoting part-time jobs that can allow students to work alongside their studies, promote student discount offers and by becoming a Work Experience Advocate.
Trafford College Group is looking for businesses that can help promote the value and importance of work experience, especially for businesses that can join the Group’s Work Experience Coordinators on stalls at Freshers events taking place in the first week of September.
The group is looking for support during the dates of 4th – 7th September 2023 between 11am and 2pm at Freshers Fayres at Stockport College, Marple College and Cheadle College in Stockport, as well as Trafford College’s Stretford and Altrincham campuses.
